A revised version of the commission rules (Chapter 6E, Florida Administrative Code) is now in effect as of February 20, 2024.
The rule changes apply to private postsecondary institutions licensed by the Commission for Independent Education and institutions not under the jurisdiction or purview of the Commission, as identified in s. 1005.06 (1)(b)-(f), Florida Statutes, as a result of legislative changes found in HB1537 (Ch.2023-39, Sections 10-14, Laws of Florida) and HB1521 (Ch.2023-106, Laws of Florida).
